Falcon Punch sent in a video for and VH1 Save the Music battle of the bands to keep music in schools!!!

CLICK THE LINK BELOW TO WATCH THE VIDEO! We worked very hard on it, and hope you enjoy it :)

This is our submission for a Battle of the Bands to help keep music education in schools, because it is important to us, and it is what we love most about schools!

School budgets are being cut all over America, and the music and arts programs are the first programs to go. We encourage everyone to help us in the fight for keeping music education in schools because it is essential for every child's education and learning experience.

Please help us in this cause by going to and voting for our video in the video gallery.

Thank you for your support and God bless!
Falcon Punch: Anisha, Sloan, Katelyn, Chris, and Katherine.

*Special Thanks to the LHS video productions staff, Mr. Parsons, LHS Band and Choir, Mr. Johnson, LHS and LMS students, Composer Jack Stamp, and everyone who participated in the video to help this awesome cause!*

Katherine and Anisha meet Demi and KSM

It was so fun meeting Demi Lovato and the band KSM. Demi was silent during the meet and greet because she has an hour of silence before each show, but she was still very kind. We gave our demo and a tshirt to Demi's Keyboardist to give to her, so i hope she got it and likes our music.

Meeting KSM was soo much fun tooooo! I (Katherine) told Kate Cabebe, the drummer, how much i love her youtube videos of her doing random things ( and we totally had a moment! She hugged me and everything.

Then we told them that we were in Falcon Punch and they recognized our band from adding them on myspace!!! Kate was like, "THATS THE COOLEST NAME EVER!!!"

IT was soooo awesome. They love us, and we love them.

It's called 'Make You Mine'

Its rockin'! Check it out.

Until next time, We love all of you, Makin' our way to the top,

Recording a Demo!

Falcon Punch has been busy, busy, busy.

We are currently still in the process of recording our first demo. Our first session was last week, a 10-hour all-nighter from midnight to 10 am! And we still aren't done! But the experience was absolutely amazing. We are recording at Chapman Recording in Lenexa, KS with George Hunt, who is fantastic and really helpful and supportive. Super cool dude. And he really likes our music too! Right now we are looking at having three of our original songs on the demo:

1. Promise Me
2. The Best of Me
3. Take My Hand

So be on the lookout for those finished, mixed songs done sometime within the next month or so. We can't wait!

The studio at Chapman is ridiculous. And by ridiculous I mean completely awesome and state of the art. Some big-name artists have recorded there, too. We were so psyched when we first saw it! Take a look at the link below for some pics of the studio where we recorded:
